Calumet School District is proud to present Universal Breakfast to every student beginning January 11, 2010.  Breakfast will be served in the classroom every morning.

We are committed to providing your student with the necessary resources that will enable them to be the "best that they can be" and set goals for academic achievement and personal growth.

The benefit of a School Breakfast improves student achievement, diets and behavior.  Studies conclude that students who eat school breakfast at the start of the school day show a general increase in math and reading scores as well as improvements in their speed and memory in cognitive tests.  The studies also conclude decreases in discipline, fewer visits to the school nurse, increase in student attentiveness and attendance; and improved learning environments.

Breakfast times:  8:10-8:20 a.m. (Students need to be on time in order to receive breakfast and not interrupt instructional time.)
